HOLLYWOOD has the Oscars, and the music industry has the Grammys – but for many small businesses in Parramatta it is the long-standing Local Business Awards that represent the pinnacle of recognition.
Now in their 41st year the Local Business Awards are held across 36 regions and attract hundreds of thousands of nominations each year. Entry details for 2025 have just been announced.
Media partnerships play a key role in assisting promote the Local Business Awards and showcase winners and finalists, enhancing their local. reputation.
Western Sydney based publishing company, Community Broadcast Network (CBN) – publishers of the Parramatta Times – has been a long-standing media partner for the Parramatta Local Business Awards programs and has just confirmed a new agreement as the official media partner for 11 local business awards programs in 2025, including these areas:

CBN group publisher Michael Walls said the CBN was honored to be working with Precedent Productions, founders of the Local Business Awards for the foreseeable future and to play a significant role in showcasing the valuable programs throughout the region.
He said CBN’s established local media brands presence in key Western Sydney and Central Coast markets meant it could deliver high-value features and ongoing media coverage to local communities where the awards influence local people most.
CBN local media brands include the Parramatta Times, Blacktown News, Western Sydney Express, , Macarthur Advocate and the Central Coast Sun.
